Benefits of surah al falaq

[1] In a long tradition of Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, and Nasai, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever recites Surah Ekhlas, Falaq, and Na’s in the morning and in the afternoon is enough to save him from calamity. — (Ibn Kathir)

[2] In Sahih Muslim, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in a hadeeth narrated by Oqba ibn Amer (may Allah be pleased with him): Have you noticed that Allah has sent down to me tonight a verse which has no equivalent? Meaning the verses of Kul Auzu Birabbil Flak and KUL Auzu Birabbil NAS. In another tradition, there is no other similar surah in the Torah, the Injil, the Psalms, and the Qur’an.

[3] On a journey, the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited Surah Falaq and Surah An-Nas to Oqba Ibn Amen (may Allah be pleased with him), then recited these two Surahs in the Maghrib prayer and also recited these two Surahs when going to sleep and when getting out of bed at the end of sleep. He has commanded to recite two surahs after each prayer in another hadith. – (Abu Dawood, Nasai)

[4] Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Ha bib (R) narrates that it was raining and very dark one night. We went out to look for the Prophet (peace be upon him). When I found him, he first said: Tell me. I asked what I should say. He said: Surah Ekhlas and Qul Auzu. If you read these three times in the morning and evening, you will be safe from every trouble. — (Mazhari)
