Surah An-Nas (Arabic: الناس, “Mankind”) is the 114th and last surah (chapter) of the Quran. It contains 6 verses and is a Meccan surah. The surah is a brief prayer for protection from evil and seeks refuge in God from the mischief of mankind and the whispers of Satan.
It is considered a protection from all sorts of evil, visible and invisible, and for the safety and security of oneself and one’s family. The surah An-Nas is also known as “The People” or “Mankind”.

Surah An-Nas Benefits
Surah An-Nas (Chapter of Mankind) is to seek protection against the shades of malice of Shaytan and the Jinn. It was uncovered to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when a witch had put a spell on him, causing him trouble. This surah is utilized related to the surah before it (Surah Al-Falaq) for assurance. While Surah al-Falaq shields us from the fiendishness of mankind, Surah An Nas shields us from Jinn and Satan.
According to the narration of Imam Baqir (R.A), it is stated:
“He who recites Surah Falaq, Nas, and Ikhlas in his Witr prayer he will be told
‘O Slave of Allah, cheer that Allah has accepted your Witr prayer’.
There are various customs on the uprightness of reciting this Surah; for instance, a convention says that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) turned out to be gravely sick. Gabriel and Michael, two extraordinary Holy messengers of Allah, came to him. Gabriel sat adjacent to the leader of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W), and Michael sat close to his feet. Gabriel recited Surah Falaq and by it put the Prophet (S.A.W.W) in the refuge of Allah, and Michael recited Surah Nas.
Surah Naas Wazifa
Wazifa to release an innocent person from prison:
May Allah keep everyone in Afiyaah. Many people see their loved ones behind bars, even when innocent. Following is the wazifa of 21 days for them to help their loved ones get released from jail:
In the beginning, Recite Durood PAK 11 times, then recite Surah Fateha (11 times) and then recite Ayat-ul-Kursi and Ayat-e-Kareema 11 times each. Afterward, Recite Surah Falaq 11 times, similarly recites Surah Naas 11 times. Complete the wazifa by reciting Durood e PAK 11 times.
Wazifa to make Jinnah leave the house:
To avoid the shenanigans and dread of Jinnat and Satan, perform the wazifa as mentioned above for 21 days. Allah will help you in getting rid of Jinnat from your house.
Wazifa for women to keep their pregnancy safe:
Women who are influenced by any kind of magic which results in miscarriage or infertility, then that woman should write Surah NAS on paper (with Zofran, if possible). Put that paper in the water and make that woman drink it or wear it around her neck. It will cause a safe pregnancy.
